Hello there,
This is maki* a.k.a. maple sounds. I work for a Teenage Fanclub
tribute compilation from last year...
Do you *LOVE* Teenage Fanclub? I love them very much. I'd like
to make a Teenage Fanclub tribute compilation with some artists
who love them. Also, I want to it would be very enjoiable album
for TFC fans.
Well, the project appeared as my and my sister 's dream first.
And I wanted to try making it when I started this label.
I got a chance to meet Francis Macdonald when he came to Tokyo
as a member of the Teenage Fanclub on January 2001. He's accepted
joining the tribute... and he's so kind that he helped me when
I wanted to make contact to some artists about this project. And
also, Douglas of the BMX bandits also helped me. I think I'm so
lucky, and wonder why anybody do it before me. (I really thank
them!)
I've thought that the release date will be about this early summer.
But it seems the date is someday, within this year. I only can
say that right now.
I don't
want to mention about which songs were kept for the artists here.
I guess that it will snatch pleasures from listeners, you know!
Anyway, PSD would like to DO this project... I'm sure.

Hi again,
We've already shopped accepting the joining of the tribute...
thank you for having interest in our project.
We'd like to release the tribute on December 2002.
BTW, does anyone
know Norman sang about someone in Neil Jung? I've known it by
the person! Curious? You can find the answer if you get the
TFC tribute... ha-ha. But, I guess that it is known by TFC fans
in UK and so on...???
Anyway, I won't announce who records which song yet. Guess it!
It would be fun, I think so! :)

It is great news! Mr. Fair (yes, i.e., Jad Fair!) has done some
drawings for the artwork of the tribute album!!! Thank you,
Jad! (I must choose two drawings from his many wonderful drawings...
Hmm, it is so hard! Ha-ha.) How do you feel? I'm very excited!
We've received some tracks. I really love to listen to them!
Hey... I actually look forward to releasing it. :)
